Privacy Policy

Effective: June 6, 2026   ·   Last updated: June 6, 2026

Our commitment: We do not sell your personal information. We do not transfer your data to third parties for their own use. Your data is used only to operate and improve Pitcher.
01

Who we are

Pitcher, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Pitcher website and any associated services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our Service.

If you have questions about this policy, you can contact us at privacy@prpitcher.com.

02

Information we collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and any content you submit through forms or account registration.
  • Usage data — information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and time spent on the site.
  • Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs, collected automatically when you access the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — we use cookies to maintain session state, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage patterns. You may adjust your browser settings to decline cookies.
03

How we use your information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests
  • Improve and personalize your experience
  • Understand how the Service is used in aggregate
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., account confirmations) where applicable
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising profiling or sell it to data brokers or any third party.

04

How we share your information We don't sell it

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties.

We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — we work with a small number of trusted vendors (such as hosting infrastructure providers) who process data on our behalf, under strict confidentiality obligations, and only as necessary to operate the Service.
  • Legal compliance — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pitcher, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

In all cases, we limit disclosure to the minimum necessary and require any recipients to maintain appropriate safeguards.

05

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

06

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@prpitcher.com. We will respond within 30 days. Additional jurisdiction-specific rights are set out in sections 10 and 11 below.

07

Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

08

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child below the applicable age threshold, we will promptly delete it.

09

Third-party links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

EU and UK users — GDPR & UK GDPR EU / UK

This section applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK). References to “GDPR” in this section apply equally to the UK GDPR as retained in UK law following Brexit.

Data controller. Pitcher, LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at privacy@prpitcher.com.

Lawful bases for processing. We rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

  • Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Service you have requested.
  • Legitimate interests — operating and improving the Service, preventing fraud, and ensuring security, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent — where we have asked for and received your explicit consent (e.g., for certain cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

International transfers. If we transfer personal data outside the EEA or UK, we do so only where an adequate level of protection is ensured — for example, by relying on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), as applicable.

Your rights under the GDPR. In addition to the general rights in section 6, you have the right to:

  • Data portability — receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller.
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — request that we delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
  • Restriction of processing — request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Object to processing — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
  • Lodge a complaint — you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the EU, this is your national data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@prpitcher.com. We will respond within one month (extendable by two further months for complex requests, with notice).

Retention. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law. Where processing is based on consent, we retain data until consent is withdrawn or the purpose is fulfilled, whichever is earlier.

11

California residents — CCPA / CPRA California

This section applies to residents of California and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy. It is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (together, “CCPA/CPRA”).

Categories of personal information collected. In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, IP address)
  • Internet or network activity (e.g., browsing history on the Service, interactions with content)
  • Inferences drawn from the above to understand user preferences

We collect this information for the business purposes described in sections 2 and 3 of this policy.

No sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not sell or share personal information in this manner, we do not offer a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out — there is nothing to opt out of.

No use of sensitive personal information beyond permitted purposes. To the extent we collect sensitive personal information (as defined under the CPRA), we use it only as necessary to perform the Service or as otherwise permitted by law. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Your California privacy rights. California residents have the following rights:

  • Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the business or commercial purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — where applicable, you may direct us to limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to perform the Service.

How to submit a request. To exercise your California rights, contact us at privacy@prpitcher.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond within 45 days; if more time is needed, we will notify you and may extend the period by an additional 45 days.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.

Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about the disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Because we do not disclose personal information for such purposes, no further disclosure is required under that statute.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as an email or a prominent notice on the website). Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
