Where Muck Rack is the better fit
Database depth and security assurance. Muck Rack maintains one of the larger journalist databases in the industry and is SOC 2 certified, which we are not — if your clients run vendor security reviews, that is a document we cannot hand them today. Their journalist profiles and pitch-matching are more developed than ours.
What you're actually choosing
Two ways to be committed. One bills annually in advance, keeps the whole term due even if you cancel mid-way, charges up to four percent a month compounded on late payment, takes a perpetual and transferable licence over your content that expressly includes AI training, and states that the word "unlimited" implies no unlimited allowance. The other bills monthly or annually, ends at the period you paid for, licenses your content only to run the product, and does not train on it. We wrote ours down so you can hold us to it.
